Research Innovation Scotland
About Us:
Research Innovation Scotland (RIS) represents a pan-Scotland collaborative initiative specifically addressing and promoting cross-disciplinary research and innovation that can address the challenges we face as a society and globally. RIS was created and is managed jointly by the Scottish Research Pools in collaboration with the Scottish Innovation Centres and Interface. RIS aims to work across the entire research and innovation landscape, to support an inclusive environment that drives purposeful collaboration and high impact outcomes in the area of missions.
Research Innovation Scotland aims to:
Unify and showcase activities across the Scottish R&I landscape
Alert academics and business to opportunities for collaboration
Ignite new cross-sector relationships that drive economic and social change
Inspire researchers and industrialists to work toward the big picture
Support for Connected Scotland
RIS’s innovative and interdisciplinary approach provides a link to academia and businesses across Scotland and supports partners’ events and promotion of the sector internationally.
