Scotland House networking reception in London, 12 October 2022
Networking event for cultural attachés and higher education recruiters
Wednesday 12th October 2022 at 4:00 - 7:00 pm, at Scotland House London
Scotland has a world-renowned education system, top-class universities and a reputation for producing creative thinkers which is why more than 65,000 students from over 180 different countries choose to study in Scotland every year. International students make up almost a quarter of all students at our universities and make a significant academic, cultural and financial contribution to our institutions, cities and country. They bring important social, cultural and economic benefits to our campuses whilst adding to the diversity of our local communities, enriching the learning experience and supporting local businesses and jobs. Additionally a multicultural learning environment is beneficial to the wider student community raising cultural awareness and a global perspective among domestic students.
We invited valued colleagues and friends from funding bodies and attachés across the HE sector to join us on the 12th October for a networking session, to be held at Scotland House London. Colleagues from Scottish HEI’s, Universities Scotland and Scottish Government will be in attendance to welcome guests and provide them with an update on the Scottish Higher Education landscape, and what it can offer to students from all across the globe. We also wish to take the opportunity to thank our diplomatic network for their continued support in helping so many students to choose Scotland as their study destination.
